Monday - Friday 9.00am to 17.00pm

Reading room

The reading room is only accessible by appointment after reservation via the catalog.

Exhibitions 

Amsab-ISG regularly organizes exhibitions. These are open to the public free of charge from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on some weekends.

Directions

By train

  • Direct train connections from Brussels Central and Antwerp Central to Ghent Sint-Pieters.
  • From Gent-Sint-Pieters station: take shuttle bus P4, get off at the Savaanstraat stop. Return a few meters to Bagattenstraat.

By car

  • Follow the R40 city ring road and the P-route for underground parking. The nearest parking lots are Gent Zuid Parking (P3) and Sint-Pietersplein Parking (P10).
  • Please note: Ghent city centre is a low-emission zone. Check here whether your car meets the admission requirements.

The reception and public area with free exhibition are located on the ground floor and are accessible without barriers.

The reading room on the first floor is accessible by elevator.

Public toilets on the ground floor, suitable for wheelchair users.

A sign language interpreter can be provided upon simple request.
