From the start of the Ghent Festivities, you can visit the free expo in the St. Nicholas Church in Ghent. Amnesty International: 65 years of struggle for human rights .
The exhibition brings together 65 posters that mobilized people for the protection of human rights worldwide. They show how Amnesty International has focused for decades on sharp slogans and powerful images that resonate. In short videos, members and supporters also share which campaigns touched them and why.
The posters come from the archive of Amnesty International, preserved at the Amsab Institute for Social History.
