Discover how Ghent has changed over the years in this exhibition full of bygone cityscapes. Amsab-ISG selected photos from the collections of newspapers, among others. forward en The morning, supplemented with images from the 1980s and 1990s by photographers and collection staff members Geert Bonne and Sonny Plasschaert.
Together, they form a beautiful series of vanished street scenes that paint a vivid and fascinating picture of the Ghent of the past.
We also challenge visitors to guess exactly where in Ghent the photos were taken. Can you recognize all the locations?
