Expo skyline

'Skyline', the exhibition at STAM about the skylines of Ghent and the Low Countries, has been extended until September 10, 2023. Amsab-ISG provided a reproduction of a poster from our collection.

High-rise buildings are functional and architectural, but also a matter of fascination and symbolism. Of reaching for the heavens and displaying power. "Skyline. High-rise buildings in the Low Countries" takes you through the history of European high-rise buildings and zooms in on Ghent and Rotterdam. A historic skyline alongside a modern one. Medieval Manhattan alongside the Manhattan on the Meuse River. Not to be missed for anyone who helps build, design, inhabit, love, or question the city. The temporary exhibition "Skyline. High-rise buildings in the Low Countries" opened on November 25, 2022, and runs until September 10, 2023.
