The book "Man and Nature" is an interuniversity collaboration of environmental historians. It is an introduction to recent research on the relationship between humans and nature in the Low Countries, from the Middle Ages to the present.
But what do people outside of historical research and students actually do with environmental history? We want to address this question during a book launch and roundtable discussion. The authors will discuss the book and the possibilities and limitations of a historical analysis for today's climate and ecological crisis.
