During Heritage Week, they took to the classroom with a lesson on historically transgressive behavior and another on the emancipation of the LGBTQIA+ community. Vital Stichelbaut, a doctoral student at Ghent University, will discuss the lesson he developed for Amsab-ISG on the history of emancipation of the LGBTQIA+ community. He based this on sources from the activist movement De Rooie Vlinder, active in the 1970s and 1980s.
