Het Werkverbond (1860-1862) was the first press organ of the Ghent labor movement. The paper appeared from June 1860 to April 1862.

The Werkverbond (Workers' Union) was aimed at weavers, spinners, and metalworkers. Although the contributions are unsigned, Emiel Moyson undoubtedly contributed. He certainly emphasized several times the idea of uniting the various unions into a single union. Over time, the journal adopted a more conservative approach, eventually disappearing altogether, partly due to the disastrous consequences of the cotton crisis.

The first issue of Het Werkverbond appeared on June 3, 1860, the last on April 13, 1862. The nearly complete collection consists of 97 issues. These have now been digitized and made full-text searchable using OCR.
