As a cultural archive, Amsab-ISG holds a valuable museum collection, which is regularly used for loans, both domestically and internationally.

Such loans enhance the visibility of our collection and broaden its audience reach. They also offer the opportunity to present pieces in a new context—through surprising perspectives and in collaboration with unexpected partners. This not only increases the collection's awareness among the public and organizers but also strengthens ties with other heritage institutions.

50 years of voting for Brussels: why voting matters

The year 2024 marked a political milestone with elections at all levels, from European to local. To celebrate this historic event and emphasize why voting is essential, the Archives and Museum for Flemish Life in Brussels (AMVB) presented the exhibition " 50 Years of Voting for Brussels: Why Voting Matters. " The exhibition offered a captivating journey through the past five decades of elections and political change, with a special focus on the crucial years of 1974, 1989, and 2006. These years marked turning points in Belgian political history and led to significant state reforms, with a special emphasis on the evolution of the Brussels-Capital Region. AMSAB-ISG provided several posters for this exhibition.
