Collection on the road

As a cultural archive, Amsab-ISG holds a valuable museum collection, which is regularly used for loans, both domestically and internationally.

Such loans enhance the visibility of our collection and broaden its audience reach. They also offer the opportunity to present pieces in a new context—through surprising perspectives and in collaboration with unexpected partners. This not only increases the collection's awareness among the public and organizers but also strengthens ties with other heritage institutions.

De Warande - Turnhout

Sticker with text: The newspaper that changes its name every day. What will it be tomorrow?

The exhibition " Bye Walter, … " at the Warande highlights the social and community engagement of Turnhout writer Walter van den Broeck, focusing on his role in, among other things, the rescue of the newspaper De Morgen in 1986 and the " De SP is nodig" (The SP is needed) in 1995. For this exhibition, Amsab-ISG lent several documents from its collection about the bankruptcy of De Morgen and the subsequent solidarity actions that ultimately ensured the newspaper's survival.
