Collection on the road

As a cultural archive, Amsab-ISG holds a valuable museum collection, which is regularly used for loans, both domestically and internationally.

Such loans enhance the visibility of our collection and broaden its audience reach. They also offer the opportunity to present pieces in a new context—through surprising perspectives and in collaboration with unexpected partners. This not only increases the collection's awareness among the public and organizers but also strengthens ties with other heritage institutions.

Poster International Exhibition of Co-operation

Amsab-ISG lent an original 1924 poster to the exhibition Here I Want to Live! Cooperative Housing Dreams in Flanders " at STAM. The colorful poster by Constant Dratz was created for an international exhibition in Ghent celebrating 50 years of the cooperative movement, and it perfectly aligns with the theme of the current exhibition: cooperative living, past and present.

The exhibition, on view at STAM until January 25, 2026, demonstrates how collective housing projects—even today—can provide quality, space, and connection. It offers an inspiring look at alternative housing options, with a glimpse into both the past and the future.
