On September 29th, several organizations whose archives we maintain were represented. These included BBL, the Human Rights League, VIERNULVIER, Bindus, Natuurpunt, Solidaris, and Amnesty International, to name a few. We presented our new policy plan to them, illustrated our work with several inspiring projects, and provided a brief training session on digital archives. But after that, it was their turn. We listened to their key needs, learned what role Amsab-ISG can play for them, and how we can improve our services. We also offered suggestions and ideas for new projects.
The young people were also presented with the 2024 annual plan, specifically the planned public activities. Not only did they provide input on how they would communicate the initiatives, but many creative ideas were also exchanged. It was a fascinating evening that we will certainly draw on in the coming year.
We'll now continue working with this input. Where possible, we'll incorporate it into our 2024 annual planning. And we're already planning to organize this event again next year.
