What was it like to be young and queer in the 1960s? And how have LGBTQ+ youth claimed their place in society throughout the decades? The exhibition "Young and Queer Since the Sixties" offers a fascinating glimpse into the challenges, struggles, and victories that helped pave the way for subsequent generations. We can draw on the rich archives of the Suzan Daniel Fund. We also present the installation "Queering the Home ," an intimate presentation of what it means to be queer and feel at home, with photos, testimonials, and interior elements created by young people and supported by Ghent European Youth Capital.
The feminist collective Pardon! presents their "Kwier Kaart ," a visual journey through Ghent, curated by and for queer youth, also available as a free zine.
