The bin consists of stackable levels with strategically placed holes. Our hungry workers, the worms, can move freely between the layers while feeding on the organic material. From top to bottom, each level transforms fresh waste into compost. The lower down the worm bin, the more composted the material becomes. Below that, there's a collection tray with a tap. The moisture produced during this composting process is used as food for plants.
A small intervention that not only provides a practical solution for our waste management, but also takes a step towards a more sustainable course.
