World of Diamond Webinar now online

Amsab-ISG organized a webinar on Friday afternoon, October 23, 2020, to present A World of Diamonds: Diamond Workers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France (1895-2000)

The afternoon opened with a welcome speech by FARO director Olga Van Oost.

Project staff Sofie Veramme and Donald Weber then presented the project and the test results.

Jolan Wuyts gave a short perspective on Linked Open Data from Europeana, followed by a panel discussion on data collection and sharing, moderated by Bart Magnus (meemoo), with Sally Chambers (Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities), Eric de Ruijter (International Institute of Social History) and Dorien Styven (Kazerne Dossin).
